The mission of OEHSAI is to ignite students' passion for Occupational and Environmental Health Careers, cultivating in students the ingenuity, curiosity, determination, and boldness required to become leaders in OEH research and practice. 

To fulfill its mission, the objectives of OEHSAI shall be to:

1. Promote the principles and practice of Occupational and Environmental Health.

2. Encourage interaction between students and faculty with diverse backgrounds and professional experiences.

3. Facilitate student success by providing opportunities for community engagement, scholarly development, and professional growth.

4. Foster collaboration between other disciplines interested in occupational health, industrial hygiene, environmental health, injury prevention, toxicology, ergonomics, and related fields.

5. Interact with professionals in government, industry, academia, and professional associations.
